Looking for a little extra support and calm during your pregnancy?
These 45-minute weekly classes are designed to help you feel confident, grounded, and ready for the twists and turns of birth.
The classes run every 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Thursday of the month
We cover a unique combination of movement and relaxation—just the thing to help you feel more comfortable and connected to yourself and your baby.
These classes are held live on Zoom, so you can join easily from home.

Here’s what to expect:

The first half will be all about practical techniques for an easier pregnancy and smoother labour. We’ll focus on biomechanics for birth, so you can move with more ease, stay comfortable, and feel confident as you prepare your body for what’s ahead.

The second half is your time to unwind. I’ll guide you through a relaxing visualisation, DreamBirth, or hypnobirthing visualisation—perfect for calming your mind, connecting with baby, and settling into that peaceful, grounded space. Picture lighting a candle, snuggling up in your favourite spot with a blanket, and letting go for a few minutes as you follow along.

Birth Biomechanics
Your body knows how to give birth, but it helps to give it the right tools. You'll practice biomechanics for birth which focuses on movement, alignment, and positions that make labor easier for you and your baby. Whether it’s easing discomfort in pregnancy or optimising your baby’s position, this is about working with your body, not against it and understanding the power of movement.
Imagery & relaxation
I'll guide you with relaxation techniques, calming imagery, and ways to connect with your baby based on gentle but effective DreamBirth and Hypnobirth methods. You'll learn simple techniques to connect, tune inwards, create a positive mindset and effortlessly release worries. It’s about creating a deeper bond with yourself and your growing little one, in a way that feels right to you.
These classes are all about practical tools and relaxation — helping you move, breathe, and prepare with confidence

Is this course suitable for me if I'm planning a C-section?
Yes! The techniques in this course can be incredibly beneficial, regardless of your birth plan. They focus on helping you feel more comfortable and relaxed throughout your pregnancy, with techniques that can help lower stress levels (and cortisol) for both you and your baby. Plus, the relaxation exercises and visualizations can be especially valuable when it comes to staying calm and connected during the lead-up to your birth. These tools support you in embracing a more peaceful, empowered approach to your pregnancy and birth experience.
How long is each class?
Each class is 45 minutes long—just the right amount of time to practice some active techniques and then unwind with a soothing relaxation session.
Do I need to be at a certain point in my pregnancy to join?
These classes are suitable to join after your 12-week scan. Whether you're in your second trimester or getting closer to your due date, you'll benefit from the movement and relaxation techniques that will help you feel grounded and calm.
Will these classes help with my birth plan or decisions about my birth?
While these classes are focused on giving you practical tools and relaxation techniques, if you're looking for ongoing support with your birth plan, your options, or deeper pregnancy-related guidance, the 12-week course is the place for that.
Can I join if I’ve never done any of these techniques before?
Absolutely! These classes are beginner-friendly. Whether you’re familiar with biomechanics, hypnobirthing, or visualisation, or none of these, I’ll guide you through so each step and progression.
Can I do these exercises if I’ve never tried them before?
Absolutely! Hypopressives is designed to be accessible for everyone, whether you're new to fitness or already have experience. We'll build up progressions in each session, going at your own pace.
What if I can’t make it to one of the classes?
If you miss a class, don’t worry! You can always join the next one, and I can provide a recap or support as needed. Plus, if you're enrolled in the 12-week course, you'll have access to additional 1:1 support.
